Was playing a bit of rfactor on weekend and for once took part in some of its online action, and i must say that for once i actually had a blast. Was mainly using the Renault Megane mod on a UK based server. So i was wondering if any of the ausracesports users played any rfactor and if so, what mods and servers are you using? I also downloaded the V8factor mod as well as some stockcar action with TPSSC though there doesnt seem to be any servers online now for TPSCC, and appears everyone ...

Heres some pictures of the new car I bought yesterday. It's a 1991 Toyota Celica GT-Four Grp A Rallye, which is the car that toyota used in the 1992-94 WRC (and won the constructors championship twice and the drivers all three years). I was really lucky to get this and its in really good condition, and its only done 125,00km which really is pretty low. Ive never been quite satisfied with the sound of the FOX (or many cars in LFS) so was playing about with the shift+A sound editor and came up with something different. Well its nearly here, the Melbourne grand prix and the start of another F1 Season.
To be honest i havent kept up with F1 over the off season this year, so come first practice its all going to be a surprise for me to see the new liverys and just who is on form, and more noteably who is not!

Come race day its certainly going to be one to watch!

Well I was bored and had nothing better to do so I decided to whip up a skin for the XRT. Heres a link to the skin if you wish to use it http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/1466/xrtclitheroe.jpg This was actually pretty easy to make. The main issue was trying to get the parts to line up across the different sections of the skin. Also technically the font for the writing is wrong but it was close enough.

Has everyone noticed the upcoming new sports channel, ONE HD? Its about to replace TEN HD as of the 26th of march, and will be available to both standard and Hi Def "free-to-air" digital channels, broadcasting 24/7 sports related programs including F1 and Nascar. SERVER STATUS: Just a note to users - The AusRaceSports server is being used by " Monday Night Racing www.mondaynightracing.com " for their league race tonight (16th March) due to issues with their server. Currently im looking into running a series with restricted XFR's (20%intake/30weight) over approx 6 rounds, featuring a sprint race and feature race each round. Though at this early stage id love to hear from users on there preferences with running serie sover next few months.
